IT Consultant / Systems Engineer

Role: As a member of the AMS team, my role is to work with our clients to help them reach their technology goals as well as achieve their everyday needs. I also assist our senior consultants in planning, implementing, and maintaining all facets of the IT spectrum.

Education: Central Maine Community College - Associates in Computer Technology

Experience: : For over 6 years I have worked in IT environments ranging from education to corporate. My career as an IT professional began immediately after completing my education at CMCC when I moved to Boston to work as a Support Technician for Collegis Eduprise Inc. (now Sungard Higher Ed.). Being exposed to such a unique and fast pace technology driven environment enabled me to obtain valuable skills I might have otherwise never gained. After spending a little over three years in Boston I returned to Maine to be closer to family and to get back to my roots a bit. For the past few years I have continued to work in various IT roles, most recently with Stonewall Kitchen as a Network Technician/Retail Support Specialist. Now I bring my skills and experience to AMS, as I look forward to new experiences and continued growth.

Life Outside of AMS: Life outside….well that is very appropriate in terms of what I like to do when not working. I love the outdoors, and here in Maine we are blessed with so many wonderful things to do and see. Some of my many hobbies are golfing, baseball, snowshoeing, fishing, camping, biking….the list is far too long to share all of them. In addition to my hobbies, my friends and family mean the world to me and I love to spend time enjoying their company.
